Web analytics service (anonymous data)

On this website we have integrated an element of a web analytics service (with anonymisation functionality). Web analytics can be defined as the gathering, processing and analysis of data about the behaviour of visitors to websites. An analytics service collects, among other things, data about which website a person came from (the so-called referrer), which sub-pages they visited or how often and for how long they visited a sub-page. Web analytics is mainly used for website optimisation and for a cost–benefit analysis of internet advertising.

Courier service

To complete deliveries we use a courier service. This courier service carries out the delivery between our company and the consumer's home. To complete these logistics, the company requires access to the consumer's name and address information.

Mailing service

Royal Queen Seeds uses a third-party mail service provider to send its newsletter. This provider has access to limited account information related to opt-in consent (e.g. email address).

Marketing services

Royal Queen Seeds has the support of a company that specialises in marketing and communication activities. Their access to personal information is very limited and mostly anonymous.

Payment services

At Royal Queen Seeds we use external payment services to handle our transactions (e.g. credit card payments).

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry standard best practices to ensure that it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored using AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional industry standards that are commonly accepted. Information related to the account is protected with a hashing method. This method transforms the information into a generated hash. As a result, confidential information is protected and invisible, even to us. In addition, our databases are exceptionally protected against unauthorised access. For example, access to the database is only possible and permitted via approved IP addresses (e.g. from Royal Queen Seeds headquarters). Other attempts and addresses are rejected at all times.

Furthermore, data is anonymised as much as possible, so it cannot be directly linked to a specific consumer. With this data, however, we may be able to carry out market research and analysis. In addition, the third parties concerned (e.g. mailing service) are examined prior to our collaboration, comply with the GDPR from the EU and receive a processing agreement. Within Royal Queen Seeds, employees are assigned different access permissions. Specific permission provides access only to information that is strictly required to perform a task. Digital security measures are subject to change and must meet high requirements to ensure the safety of online customers. That is why, at Royal Queen Seeds, we appoint a security officer. Regular verification and improvement of security measures (where necessary) are part of the role.

Haze Berry Automatic Grow Report: Seedling Stage (Week 1)

Week 1

Even the largest and most productive cannabis plants come from humble beginnings. To get things started, I needed to create conditions that would force my seed to emerge into a shoot.

  • Growing medium: I placed 10l of BioBizz Light Mix onto a plastic tarp and added 1.8 oz of Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, 0.2 oz of Easy Roots Mycorrhiza Mix, and mixed it all thoroughly before filling my Air-Pot. Then, I prepped 1.5l of water regulated to a pH of 6.0 before saturating the growing medium.
  • Germination: After I soaked the growing medium, I made a hole in the center of the surface with a depth of around 0.6 inches. I inserted my Haze Berry Automatic seed, lightly covered it with soil, and gave the area a light mist.
  • Lighting: Using the hanging wires, I suspended my light from the top of the grow box so it hung 13.7 inches from the rim of my Air-Pot. I left it on for 24 hours each day as soon as the shoot started to emerge.
  • Environment: Over the first week, I recorded an average temperature of 26°C and a relative humidity of 58%. The humidity started to drop during the middle of the week, prompting me to lightly mist the top of the growing medium and switch on my humidifier in an attempt to bring levels back up to 60%. Once I achieved this, I turned off my device and things remained quite stable.
  • Plant status: By the end of the first week, my seedling seemed healthy and happy. The lighting position paid off; the stem seemed thick and strong with no signs of stretching. My seedling displayed its first set of true leaves and stood at around 2 inches tall.

Haze Berry Automatic Grow Journal: Vegetative Stage (Weeks 2–4)

Week 2 marked the start of the vegetative stage. Throughout this phase, I administered a cocktail of organic nutrients to drive optimal growth and prevent deficiencies. My plant surged in height over the next few weeks. Find out what I did to keep her so healthy.

Week 2

Week 2

During the first week of veg, my plant grew to over twice her size and put out several new sets of luscious true leaves.

  • Lighting: I kept the light on for 24 hours each day to drive photosynthesis and avoid any legginess (etiolation) in the early stages.
  • Nutrients: I added the following nutrients into 1.5l of pH-regulated water and applied them on days 3 and 6 of the week:
    • 6ml humic acid and seaweed blend
    • 3ml aloe vera extract
    • 3ml amino acid formula
  • Environment: Temperature hovered around 25°C with relative humidity at around 48%.
  • Plant status: I took some photos of my plant at the end of the week to document the process. She still displayed no signs of etiolation, and had developed a robust and relatively thick stem. Two more sets of true leaves developed, and the plant had an overall healthy appearance.

Week 3

Week 3

Things continued to run smoothly throughout week 3. I decided to tweak the nutrients slightly to add more nitrogen to the growing medium.

  • Lighting: I kept the light running for 24 hours each day, and continued to maintain a distance of 13.7 inches between the lamp and the top of my plant.
  • Nutrients: I changed the formula slightly toward a more nitrogen-heavy blend to continue to facilitate healthy vegetative growth. I added the following to pH-regulated water and applied it on days 2 and 6 of the week:
    • 3ml aloe vera extract
    • 3ml amino acid formula
    • 3ml liquid fish extract
  • Environment: I recorded an average temperature of 25°C with a slightly higher relative humidity of 50%.
  • Plant status: My plant continued to put out new fan leaves. My nutrition plan seemed to be working well, with no signs of deficiencies detected at this stage. The requirement for watering remained low due to her current size of 10.1 inches and the water administered during feeding.

Week 4

Week 4

Week 4 marked the final week of the vegetative phase. My plant grew considerably during this time and started to develop preflowers—a sign that cannabinoid-rich buds weren’t far away!

  • Lighting: I kept my lamp on for 24 hours each day and, once again, repositioned it to maintain a 13.7 inches distance from the top of my plant.
  • Nutrients: I administered a battery of nutrients to my plant during the final week of veg to promote as much canopy growth as possible before flowering commenced. I added the following formula into 1.5l of pH-regulated water and applied it on days 2 and 6 of the week:
    • 2.25ml CaMg+
    • 3ml aloe vera extract
    • 3ml amino acid formula
    • 3ml liquid fish extract
    • 1.5ml liquid seaweed extract
    • 1.5ml humic and fulvic acid
    • 1.5ml organic flowering fertiliser

I also administered an additional dose of 2.25ml of CaMg+ in 1.5l of water on day 4, as a preventative measure against deficiencies.

  • Environment: Temperature and humidity stayed steady at 25°C and 50%, respectively.
  • Plant status: My plant started to really display her sativa morphology by the end of the vegetative phase. She stood at 24.6 inches tall and had developed plenty of thin-fingered fan leaves. She still showed no signs of deficiencies, and her pre-flowers seemed to be developing well.

Haze Berry Automatic Grow Guide: Flowering Stage (Weeks 5–11)

The flowering stage had arrived. During this time, I made an effort to reduce the humidity further by intermittently opening the grow box door. The flowering stage went swimmingly, despite a minor sign of fungal infection.

Weeks 5 & 6

Week 5

A slight smell of terpenes started to permeate the air during the first two weeks of flowering. I reduced the light cycle slightly and made an effort to bring the humidity down.

  • Lighting: I switched the light cycle to 20 hours on and 4 hours off. I continued to adjust the height of my lamp to 13.7 inches above the top of my plant.
  • Nutrients: I added the following inputs into 1.5l of pH-regulated water and administered them on days 2 and 6 of weeks 5 and 6:
    • 2.25ml CaMg+
    • 3ml aloe vera extract
    • 3ml amino acid formula
    • 3ml liquid fish extract
    • 3ml liquid seaweed extract
    • 2ml humic and fulvic acid
    • 3ml organic flowering fertiliser
  • Environment: Temperature remained steady at 25°C. I managed to reduce humidity to an average of 43% to protect developing flowers from mold.
  • Plant status: At the end of week 6, my plant had reached a height of 36.3 inches, with the flowers developing brilliant white pistils and visible trichomes.

Week 7

Week 7

The flowers were starting to pop at this point. The sweet smell of Haze Berry Auto’s terpene profile became stronger.

  • Lighting: I kept my lamp running for 20 hours each day and readjusted as necessary to maintain a distance of 13.7 inches from the top of the plant.
  • Nutrients: My plant seemed happy and healthy, so I only fed her once this week to avoid the possibility of nutrient toxicity. I added the following to 1.5l of pH-regulated water and applied it on day 2 of the week:
    • 2.25ml CaMg+
    • 4.5ml aloe vera extract
    • 4.5ml amino acid formula
    • 3ml liquid seaweed extract
    • 1.5ml humic and fulvic acid
    • 3ml organic flowering fertiliser
    • 3ml flowering NPK and enzyme blend

I also applied 1.5l of pH-regulated water on day 6 of the week to keep my plant hydrated and turgid.

  • Environment: Temperature increased slightly to 26°C and humidity to 45%.
  • Plant status: My plant seemed vibrant, healthy, and strong. The flowers started to mature, with a thick layer of trichomes forming on each bud.

Week 8

Week 8

Week 8 marked the final week of feeding before flushing. I made sure to supply my plant with everything it needed to keep the buds healthy during this time.

  • Lighting: 20 hours each day, with a distance of 13.7 inches between the lamp and canopy.
  • Nutrients: For the final feeds, I mixed the following into 1.5l of pH-regulated water and applied it on days 2 and 6 of the week:
    • 2.25ml CaMg+
    • 6.5ml aloe vera extract
    • 6.5ml amino acid formula
    • 4.5ml liquid seaweed extract
    • 1.5ml humic and fulvic acid
    • 4.5ml organic flowering fertiliser
    • 4.5ml flowering NPK and enzyme blend
  • Environment: I recorded an average temperature of 25°C and a relative humidity of 45%.
  • Plant status: My plant seemed healthy overall. However, I did notice some discoloration in several leaves that looked like a case of yellow leaf spot. This didn’t cause much concern considering the plant had reached the final stages of growth, and this pathogen rarely spreads to the flowers.

Weeks 9, 10 & 11

Week 9

Week 9 marked the start of the flushing phase. For the next 3 weeks, I restricted all nutrients and administered only pH-regulated water.

  • Lighting: 20 hours each day, with a distance of 13.7 inches between the lamp and canopy.
  • Watering: I applied 1.5l of pH-regulated water on days 2 and 6 of the remaining weeks.
  • Environment: Temperature stayed at around 25°C with relative humidity at around 47%.
  • Plant status: The aroma emanating from the buds became extremely strong during the last few weeks. As the flush forced my plant to use up its nutrient reserves, the majority of fan leaves became yellow and slightly shrivelled.

Haze Berry Automatic Grow Report: Harvest (Week 12)

Week 12

I cut my plant at the base and hung it inside the grow tent with the fan running. Once dry, I trimmed off the sugar leaves and weighed my harvest, which clocked in at 92.0.2 oz. I then transferred my buds into Weed Jars to cure for 6 weeks.
