Web analytics service (anonymous data)

On this website we have integrated an element of a web analytics service (with anonymisation functionality). Web analytics can be defined as the gathering, processing and analysis of data about the behaviour of visitors to websites. An analytics service collects, among other things, data about which website a person came from (the so-called referrer), which sub-pages they visited or how often and for how long they visited a sub-page. Web analytics is mainly used for website optimisation and for a cost–benefit analysis of internet advertising.

Courier service

To complete deliveries we use a courier service. This courier service carries out the delivery between our company and the consumer's home. To complete these logistics, the company requires access to the consumer's name and address information.

Mailing service

Royal Queen Seeds uses a third-party mail service provider to send its newsletter. This provider has access to limited account information related to opt-in consent (e.g. email address).

Marketing services

Royal Queen Seeds has the support of a company that specialises in marketing and communication activities. Their access to personal information is very limited and mostly anonymous.

Payment services

At Royal Queen Seeds we use external payment services to handle our transactions (e.g. credit card payments).

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry standard best practices to ensure that it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored using AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional industry standards that are commonly accepted. Information related to the account is protected with a hashing method. This method transforms the information into a generated hash. As a result, confidential information is protected and invisible, even to us. In addition, our databases are exceptionally protected against unauthorised access. For example, access to the database is only possible and permitted via approved IP addresses (e.g. from Royal Queen Seeds headquarters). Other attempts and addresses are rejected at all times.

Furthermore, data is anonymised as much as possible, so it cannot be directly linked to a specific consumer. With this data, however, we may be able to carry out market research and analysis. In addition, the third parties concerned (e.g. mailing service) are examined prior to our collaboration, comply with the GDPR from the EU and receive a processing agreement. Within Royal Queen Seeds, employees are assigned different access permissions. Specific permission provides access only to information that is strictly required to perform a task. Digital security measures are subject to change and must meet high requirements to ensure the safety of online customers. That is why, at Royal Queen Seeds, we appoint a security officer. Regular verification and improvement of security measures (where necessary) are part of the role.

SECTION 7 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please check back regularly. Changes and clarifications will be effective immediately upon being published on the Website. If we make substantial changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated so you will know what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

Can't get enough of indica strains? If so, you're not alone! Many smokers and growers quickly fall in love with their powerful effects, compact morphology, and superb productivity. In fact, it's these very attributes that have contributed to their steady rise in popularity. Does this make them superior to sativa-dominant strains? Absolutely not! But they do offer a different growing experience, and their more discrete structure might be the perfect fit for your grow space.

Given their size, it's not unusual for growers to have several indica strains on the go, using the Sea of Green (SOG) or Screen of Green (ScrOG) techniques to create a beautifully even canopy. With these short, bushy cultivars, maximising light exposure is crucial. But put in the work, and the returns are significant. Plus, indica strains are notorious for having shorter flowering periods, meaning you won't have to wait as long to harvest those thick, juicy buds.

Even better, the effects of indicas aren't confined to couch lock and intense sedation. Thanks to their diverse terpene profiles and excellent cannabinoid content, you're sure to find a high that meets your every need. Uplifting and euphoric, or a mild buzz with plenty of physical stimulation? Indicas can do it all. Moreover, to assist you in your quest for quality, we've assembled a list of the ten best indica cultivars of 2025. Enjoy!

1. ICE

One of the most notable indica strains we carry is ICE. An acronym for Indica Crystal Extreme, it will seem as though your plants are covered in an icy frost once harvest rolls around. ICE matures its bountiful, sparkling buds in as little as 8 weeks of bloom, but many growers prefer to extend the phase to 10 weeks. ICE is a hybrid of Northern Lights, Afghan, and Skunk, a marriage that culminates in a spicy, earthy, and herbaceous aroma alongside a decadent high.

2. Blue Gelato

As one of our most popular indica strains, Blue Gelato encompasses all of the classic indica traits. This variety produces compact buds that are packed with a THC content of 23% and moreish tastes of earth and diesel. She ticks all of the boxes, but what else would you expect from the progeny of Blueberry, Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, and Sunset Sherbet? After harvesting this strain, you’ll get to savour her mentally uplifting and physically relaxing effect for weeks to come. Expect a yield of 550–600g/m² from indoor specimens and a bounty of up to 600g/plant from those cultivated outdoors.

In fact, the moreish flavours are just one aspect of an incredibly well-rounded strain. Not only is the high well balanced, with equal parts euphoria and creativity, but plants grow short and compact, making them ideal for growers with limited space.

If that wasn't enough to sweeten the deal, Cherry Pie weed contains up to 20% THC alongside low levels of CBD. It also has the potential to yield 400–450g/m² indoors after 8–9 weeks of flowering and up to 500g/plant outdoors, provided you harvest plants in October.

9. Grape Ape

The Grape Ape strain is a bold, brash, and delightfully fruity cultivar that boasts a subtle hint of skunk on the exhale. In short, it's every bit the dominant blast to your taste buds you'd expect from a strain with grape in the name. Effects are body-centric, with every hit washing over aches and pains like a soothing blanket. If you want a strain you can settle down with each night, look no further than this Afghani x Mendocino Purps x Skunk #1 cross.

Moreover, it flowers in just 7–9 weeks, with outdoor growers able to harvest as early as September. That's an exceptionally short flowering period for a plant that has the potential to yield up to 500g/m² in a grow tent or up to 600g/plant in a cannabis garden. If you enjoy a physically relaxing and mentally calming high, Grape Ape weed will get the job done.
